Karina started her Yoga career with Pilates and hot yoga over 16 years ago. After one year of practice and injuries, she knew she needed more details on how to do yoga poses properly. A friend recommended Iyengar Yoga. She attended one class, fell in love with the technique and its attention to details. In June 2013, she had her 1st assessment and was accredited as a certified Iyengar yoga teacher.
Her working experience in pharmaceutical sales for rare diseases, her understanding of diet as well as her Vipassana meditation technique, combined with Yoga, help students and empower them to make drastic changes in their lives. She believes that Iyengar Yoga is a powerful tool for living a happy and healthy life, train the mind, stay focused and emotionally balanced.
Karina’s classes are rigorous, energetic and adapted to the individual needs. The use of props (chair, block, strap) is common to each of her classes.
